Somatic level transformation with IMSCoaching

With increasing challenges for modern leaders, ancient yoga-somatic practices are a great boon. One of the international somatic practitioner Strozzi-Heckler (2007) lays emphasis in one of his works – “Somatic practices allows a leader to literally feel and directly experience one’s own patterns of behavior and conditioned tendencies”. Fact is that, thousands of years old yogic science lays lots of emphasis on keeping body healthy and mind clear.

Do you know… How do you hold your experiences about life in your body and in every muscle, tissues, bones and every cell of your BEING?

Become aware, the life in you makes you store your stories, attitude, beliefs, the ways of being, and habits knitted and embedded in the fabric of your body. Your body shapes up accordingly and tells a vivid and powerful story of your life the way you have lived. This happens because of the kind of thoughts that you hold, either deplete or enhance life, the prana in you. This continuum of depletion and enhancement of prana, the energy is what causes firmness, constriction and relaxation in muscle tension. You know them as sensation, feelings and patterns and give some meaning to them as confidence, depression, creativity, tension, joy, stress, happiness, etc.

It is a perfect technology which enables you to drop un-useful patterns and become immune to complexities of life.

Western researcher and somatic expert Doug Silsbee (2008) wrote, “We store in our tissues (our body) the default habits that form our identity”. This fact has been sighted by Indian sages and eastern world human growth experts since ages.

  5. Breathing patterns, Neuro-physiological patterns, Eye movements etc. gives clues about our behaviors and habits.
  6. Our tendencies are linked with our internal sensations and feelings.

Above insights gives enough reasons and make it worth outing every single effort to gain somatic knowledge.
